Gray Ceramic Tile Flooring - Ceramic or porcelain tile flooring is extremely durable as well as an excellent investment in your house. Remove wooden floors, carpet, or any existing floor coverings. Clean the subfloor it's free of dust and debris. Make sure that the floor is stable and tough. Install cement backer board onto the stabilized floor and the backer board in with 2 inches, at each floor joist screw galvanized screws. The old flooring will have to be disposed of, and most garbage services don't pick up things that are such.
Work with a chalk line to mark two lines that intersect in the centre of the area. Make sure the lines are square to each other (90 degrees). Put spacers between the tiles, leaving enough room. Look at how the tiles are arranged; you want as many whole tiles in the center as possible. Fiddle with the tile before you are pleased with the way they've been placed.
Use thin set to hold your tiles in place. Use a notched trowel. Disperse the thin-set merely to as far as you are able to reach and place a tile. Install your tiles into the inset having a firm downward pressure. Remember to place spacers involving the tiles. It's possible for you to harness the tile on the corners gradually to ensure that it's in place. The cut tiles and border tiles are installed.
